Reptiles and Amphibians, Fact and Fiction

The southern Appalachians are home to some amazing lizards, snakes, turtles, frogs, toads and salamanders. We will make, draw and paint them. Specifically, each of us will make a “Folk-Art,” bottle cap snake. All this will be done in a Fun way as study the lies of these animals that share our mountain home.

July 11-15th, 2022 “Reptiles and Amphibians, Fact and Fiction” will be taught at Penland’s kids camp for 8 to 12 year olds. This science and art camp will be happening at the Penland School of Craft near Spruce Pine, North Carolina.
