5” x 3” x 3”, made from freely found objects and gill net floats from the Pacific Ocean. These “Little People,” come via my pockets as if by a pack rat or crow picking up shiny objects. They reproduce on their own while bedded down in suitcases for the winter. Over the years they have multiplied and become a new species. These figures are a recording of a sense of place. They carry stories of people and places, yet make themselves available to each viewer to create new stories.
