Inertia

In Our House
I sit and breathe
The imagined future
Reliving yesterday
Might be
Enough!

Now
Observing what is
What has been
In my minds’ eye
Speak not
Of the chair

We have several
Comfy chairs
Waking up
Sit up
Or napping wearily
Minutes into hours

Anticipating
Inertia
Stepping into
The beginning
With a gesture
Physics prevails

Just now
Step out
Listen
Comfort and safety
Has begun
They hold me

Reading, writing
Drawing or …
Magnetic
Velcro, glue
Gravity sucks
And, I sit

The process is
Get in, or get out
Next…

A while longer
I breathe
