I’m just in the midst of writing a artist statement for an artist in residency at Bernheim Arboretum. These are words that keep coming up: inclusive, on-going, showcase, event, upcoming, radical, Luddite, community, custom, inclusive, expensive, repeatable, excited, Contribute, explore, engage, emerging, metamorphosis, deep, grassroots, extraordinary, reachable, breathe, Engage, correlations, employees, landscape, fruition, finish, complex, connect, attract, Seek, respond, select, absorb, inspire, take in, capture space, always, looking, feeling, listening, heartfelt, intricate, hanging in balance, documenting, extensively, shadow play, musical, poetic, participatory, natural, process, encounters, caretaker, depiction, botanical, anthropomorphic, fascinating, integral, sprinkled, intermixed, married, transparent, translucent, integrated, established, creative, site-specific, Prolific inviting, concentric, collected, familiar, public, personal, potential, promising, osmosis, enhancing, immersion, performance, studies, thumbnail diversity, large scale, seasonal, dormant, invigorated, unique, gathering, foraged, forged, forgotten, forewarn, perpetual, preliminary, Mission, expedition, mirror, regardless, abandoned, social, arboreal, biome, developed, undeveloped, aquatic, demonstrate, teach, learn, experiential, manipulate, exchange, sense of place, sensory, olfactory, reverberate, currently, originally, wilderness, Elemental, whimsy and installation.

All of these words struck a chord within me. They are all true, but not all at the same time. On another day there could be more. Today is full of possibilities, may you have some as well.
