Hello everyone, I’ve just come back from physical therapy. My shoulder is better, but with the limited motion the more I stretch up and out the better. Good it’s not pruning season because my 2022 teaching calendar is beginning to fill. See below:

Mr. Jeff’s 2022 Teaching Calendar

Sunday, December 5 from 1:00-4:00 pm, Annie and I will be team teaching the wreath making workshop in just a few weeks. $30 per person or $50 for two people. It will be held outside in our driveway/garage so dress appropriately.

Saturday, January 8 from 10:00am-4:00pm is a new art class, “Drawing with Evocative Line.” There is space for six people in my studio/garage. All materials provided, BYO lunch. This will be a beginning to intermediate drawing class with an emphasis on line. $60/person or $100/2+people.

Saturday, February, 5, will be a repeat of “pruning for the homeowner.“This popular workshop will give hands-on experiential late winter pruning tips. All of the gardening workshops are taught at 100 Botany Dr., Asheville, North Carolina. To pre-register email Annie Menzer.

With the approach of spring I’ll be teaching away from home. The western North Carolina sculpture center, near Lenoir NC will host a series of weekend workshops. Circles, cycles and spheres, as well as outdoor artist games. As of this posting the dates are to be announced.

June 13 through July 17, Art in the Garden,” will be taught at the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center, 20 miles east of Lenoir, NC. This is a week long art camp for 8 to 12 year olds. This wide open topic includes: making giant earth balls, painting with flowers croquet, stick figures and mud pies.

July 11 through the 15th “Reptiles and Amphibians, Fact and Fiction” will be taught at Penland’s kids camp for 8 to 12 year olds. This science and art camp will be happening at the Penland School of Craft near Spruce Pine, North Carolina.

Currently, today I’m busy making more cards and mailing out cards to customers. Yay! I love getting checks in the mail. See you later.
